GCSEs and A Levels
At Tute, we have high aspirations for all our students and our course offering of over 30 subjects is helping our partners to present routes to achieving qualifications that would not normally be possible.
GCSEs
GCSEs play a significant role in the education of young people but too many of them don’t have access to the qualification or want to study subjects that are not available in their setting.
Our GCSE candidates may be joining us from home, or from school. Settings use our GCSE Courses to:
- Offer an additional subject where there is no teacher specialism or enough student demand
- Create a viable alternative provision for those who cannot access mainstream
- Provide a pathway to further education, employment, or training
- Add capacity to a small teaching team
- Offer a route to re-takes at 16-19 to achieve desired grades in English and maths
- Enhance their Progress 8 scores
- Fulfil their statutory obligations
A-levels
A–levels are where personal passions are pursued by our students, where pre-requisite qualifications for higher education are gained, and career paths are shaped.
Our A Level candidates may be joining us from home, or from school. Settings use our A Level Courses to:
- Offer an additional subject where there is no teacher specialism or enough student demand
- Add capacity to a small teaching team
- Provide a pathway to higher education
- Retain students who may otherwise go elsewhere to gain qualifications
- Support career aspirations
- Include a named provider in a young person’s EHC Plan
Tute teachers deliver the GCSE specification in one or two years and act as the student’s main, if not only, source of education for that subject. We take care of all the teaching and learning, all you need to do is take care of exam entries, NEAs, and textbooks.
