Many struggle with revision.  Knowing where to start, what to revise, when to fit it in and demands on time are all issues students face when preparing for exams.  It’s also difficult for to maintain motivation and maximise progress when they are revising solo at home, without teacher support.  

Tute’s online revision programmes, delivered by qualified teachers, provide a solution. Our Tute Go Twilight Programme is a timetable of evening lessons for students sitting GCSEs this summer. 

Starting on 9 February, the 9-week curriculum offers 2 lessons per week, per subject, and aims to improve attainment in English (AQA), maths (EdExcel) and combined science trilogy (AQA).  Students can join just one programme or sign up to all three and there are two targeted grades in each programme: secure a 4 or strive for 5. 

The timetable has been designed to incorporate the established techniques of retrieval practice and spacing with a lesson each in fundamental concepts and past papers helping students to learn more effectively and remember more efficiently.   

Retrieval practice helps to solidify information in students’ brains whilst spacing, the practice of spreading out revision sessions, helps to reinforce the information in students’ long-term memory. A recipe for success come exam season.
