Confidence and enjoyment student guidance

What’s being introduced?

Every Wednesday, when you log in to the Tute platform, you’ll see a short pop-up asking two quick questions:

1. How confident do you feel in your learning this week?

2. How much are you enjoying your lessons?

You’ll answer by moving a simple slider from 1–5 to show how you feel. It takes less than 30 seconds to complete, and then it disappears once you’ve submitted your responses.

Why is this being introduced?

At Tute we want to understand how learning feels for you, not just what you achieve in each lesson. Your confidence and enjoyment are important because they show us how supported, motivated, and connected you feel in your learning.

Your responses help us to:

  • Notice when students might need extra help or encouragement.
  • Celebrate when confidence or enjoyment grows.
  • Make sure learning online stays positive, engaging, and enjoyable.

Your answers are private and will never be used to assess or grade you. They’re simply a way for teachers and Tute to understand how students are feeling and to provide support where needed.

What do I need to do?

When you see the pop-up each Wednesday, move the sliders to show how confident and how much you’re enjoying your learning that week. Be honest; there are no right or wrong answers.

If you miss the pop-up, it will appear the next time you log in.

If you have any questions, please do ask your teachers, they’ll always be happy to support you.
